I’m a cartoonist & illustrator of quirky animals, misunderstood beasties, and often discombobulated (understandably so) humans. I also work by day in the salt mines hallowed halls of corporate design as an in-house Art Director, but that’s not why we’re here. I am surrounded by all things mid-century, including 60s monster toys, various and sundry robots,
and neato advertising ephemera. Let’s call them emotional support tchotchkes. They constantly inspire and inform my work, but I have this nagging feeling that it will all end up in a garage sale when I am finally tagged and filed in a dusty drawer somewhere in the deep archives of the Billy Ireland Cartoon Museum.
